Delivery Service Returns

Undeliverable Packages

If a package cannot be delivered due to incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or refusal of delivery, we will:

  • Attempt delivery up to three times at no additional charge
  • Contact the sender immediately to arrange alternative delivery instructions
  • Hold the package at our facility for up to 5 business days
  • Return the package to the sender if no resolution is reached within the holding period

Return to Sender

Packages may be returned to the sender in the following circumstances:

  • Recipient refuses delivery
  • Address is incorrect or incomplete and cannot be verified
  • Recipient cannot be located after multiple delivery attempts
  • Sender requests return before delivery is completed

Return Fees: A return delivery fee equal to 50% of the original delivery charge will apply for packages returned to sender, unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Policy

Eligible Refund Situations

Full or partial refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Performed: If we are unable to provide the delivery service as agreed, a full refund will be issued
  • Significant Delay: If delivery is delayed beyond the guaranteed timeframe due to our error, a partial refund may be issued
  • Package Damage: If a package is damaged while in our care, we will refund the delivery fee and work with our insurance to cover the package value
  • Service Cancellation: If you cancel the service before pickup, a full refund will be issued minus any processing fees

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact our customer service team within 7 days of the delivery date
  2. Provide your tracking number and detailed explanation of the issue
  3. Our team will investigate the claim within 2-3 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Delays caused by incorrect address information provided by the sender
  • Recipient unavailability or refusal to accept delivery
  • Delays due to weather conditions, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Services already completed successfully

Damaged or Lost Packages

SPEEDY GONZALEZ DELIVERY SERVICES carries comprehensive insurance coverage for all deliveries. In the event of package damage or loss:

    Report Immediately: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery or discovery of loss

    Documentation: Provide photos of damage and original packaging if applicable

    Investigation: We will conduct a thorough investigation within 3-5 business days

    Resolution: Claims will be processed through our insurance provider, with compensation up to the declared value of the package

Note: Maximum liability is limited to $100 per package unless additional insurance is purchased at the time of booking. We recommend declaring the full value of high-value items and purchasing additional coverage.
